One Day International Conference
Date: 01.10.2019Venue: Closed Auditorium
Our department has organized One Day International Conference on the topic “Recent Trends in Language, Literature and Linguistics” on 01.10.2019 in the closed auditorium. Prof. Dr. Kannan Narayanan, Dr.John Sekar, Dr. Pereira and Dr. S. S. Kavithawere invited as Resource Persons.
The chief guest, invited speakers, Respectable Principal Sr. Dr. Jothi Mary, Vice Principal Sr.Dr.Sabin Mary were lighted the lamp. Our students welcomed all guests by giving small gifts as a token of love. Mrs.SP.Visalakshi and Ms.J.JudyVeena welcomed the gathering. Our principal Sr.Dr.Jothi Mary felicitated the gathering by her motivational speech.
In the morning session, our chief guest Dr.Kannan Narayanan gave thelecture on The Importance of English Language through PPT.Dr. John Sekar gave the lecture on language and also stressed the difference between acquisition and leaning through his humorous thoughts.
The invited speakers, lecturers were very informative and useful for us. They highlighted the importance of English Language. Really it was useful for us.
In the afternoon session faculties and students from various colleges and our students were presented a paper by using PPT. Nearly 250 students from six colleges were participated. And an International Article is going to be published with an ISBN Number. Our staff Ms. C. Priya delivered a vote of thanks. The function came to an end with national anthem.
