The Department of Business Administration (BBA) emerged in the year 1996. We have four faculty members specialized in various fields of Management. Our Department focuses to identify the students to become a successful entrepreneur and become good administrators. The Department motivates the students to improve their leadership quality. Our Department provides an opportunity to the students to go forward in the broad range of professional directions and build sound rewarding careers. It enables them to compete effectively in today's competitive world.
It was first recognized by Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai and Non Choice Based Credit System (Non- CBCS) was followed. From 2003 onwards it has been recognized by Alagappa University, Karaikudi. Non Choice Based Credit system (Non- CBCS) was introduced and CBCS is followed since 2011.

MGT MEGA FEST-2017 [27.09.2017]
In collaboration with Commerce with Computer Application, Commerce, and our Department organised an Inter-collegiate Meet “MGT MEGA FEST 2017” on 27.09.2017 at Idhaya Auditorium. Our Principal Rev. Dr. C. Jothimary presided over the function. On that day, the Chief Guest was Dr. S. Selvarani, Principal, Sri Saradha Nikethan College, Amaravathiputhr. She delivered a valuable speech on “You Can Win”. We conducted Ad- Act, Rangoli, Fireless Cooking, Old Dual Dance and Paper Presentation. Nearly 400 students and 30 faculty members had participated. Finally the prize winners were awarded with prizes. Certificates were provided to all the participants. The programme ended with National Anthem successfully.
2018 - 2019
In collaboration with English, Tamil, and Fashion Technology & Costume Designing we organized an “Arts & Fashion Fiesta” Exhibition on 16th August, 2018 in the closed Auditorium. Nearly 12 schools were participated with 137 (XI & XII Std) students. Rev. Sr. Jessi Mathew, Principal, Infant Jesus, Matric Higher Sec. School, Devakottai was invited as a Resource Person. Our students exhibited their talents by performing dance and an Ad-Act. The prize winners were awarded with Shields and Certificates. The students and staff from various Schools came voluntarily and gave their feedback about the Exhibition and the atmosphere of the College.
SEMINAR
Our Department organized One Day Seminar in collaboration with Commerce and Commerce with Computer Applications On 20.03.2019 at our College Campus. The Chief Guest was Prof. Dr. V.Manickavasagam Formerly Registrar, Controller of Examinations and Dean Management, Alagappa University, Karaikudi. He delivered his special address on the topic “Consumer Awareness and Rights”.
