| 12.03.2015 | Workshop – One Day Workshop was conducted in our Language Lab on 12thMarch 2015. The Chief Guest was Mr.B.Lokesh Babu from Shine Tech, Coimbatore. The topic was “Possibilities in COMPUTER APPLICATION Teaching using Language Lab”. Nearly 44 students including 6 Ph.D. scholars from various colleges have participated and they were given participation certificates. |

Professor of COMPUTER APPLICATION & Foreign Languages, Alagappa University, Karaikudi. He gave the lecture on the topic of “Understanding Poetry”. |

| 26.08.2016 & 27.08.2016 | Outreach Programme– Nine of our COMPUTER APPLICATION Department students went to Outreach Programme to Primary East School, Kalaiyarkovil. The students were participated very actively. They taught Grammar part to the school students and they also donated their teaching Aids to the school students. |
| 01.03.2017 | One day State Level Competition– One day State Level Competition was conducted in Commemoration of Shakespeare’s 400th Death Anniversary on 1stMarch, 2017. The Resource Person was Dr.VR.Jeya Shala, Asst. Professor of COMPUTER APPLICATION, Alagappa Govt. Arts College, Karaikudi. We have conducted some competitions such as tableau, Fancy dress, Skit etc. Nearly Seven colleges were participated. The winners were given prizes and all the participants were given Participation Certificates. |
| 04.03.2017 | Inter Department Competition– An Inter Department Competition was organized in our Department. The Judges were Sr.Christy, Okkur Formation House, Mrs.SP.Sigappi, Head of the Department of COMPUTER APPLICATION, Mrs.Mahalakshmi, Asst. Professor of Computer Science, Idhaya College for Women – Sarugani. Nearly 50 students were participated earnestly in various Competitions such as Pencil Drawing, Speech and Essay Writing. The students were given prizes and Certificates. |

Dr.M.Kavitha, Sree Ramaswamy Naidu Memorial College, Satthur was invited as a Resource Person. Our Department students enacted the Drama “Macbeth”. They were highly appreciated by the Chief Guest. |
| 21.12.2017 | Monthly Activities– In our Department we organized Department Activities on 21st December, 2017 to our students. In order to exhibit the talent of the students, we have conducted competitions such as Meganthi, Hairdo, Non-Flame Cooking, Art from Waste. Nearly 82 students have actively participated. Mrs.SP.Sigappi, HOD of COMPUTER APPLICATION, Mrs.K.Vairalakshmi, HOD of Tamil, Ms.Simi HOD of FT, Mrs.Sudha, Department of Beautician and Mrs.Dilani, Dance Teacher were invited as judges. The students were given prizes and certificates. |
| 05.01.2018 | Outreach Programme – In our Department 12 of our students went to Outreach Programme to Nagaratchi High, School, Devakottai. They taught Grammar part (Tenses, Voice, Degrees of Comparison, Direct and Indirect Speech)for the VIII, IX, & X students and they also donated their teaching aids to the school students. |
| 16.02.2018 | Monthly Activities–Talent Show was organized in our Department on 16th February, 2018. Dr.M.Vennila, Head & Assistant Professor of COMPUTER APPLICATION, Seethalakshmi Achi Women’s College, Pallathur was invited as a special judge. She gave a special talk on “Communicative Competence”. Nearly 200 students were participated. The students were given prizes and certificates. |
| 16.02.2018 | Monthly Activities–To enhance our students’ Subject knowledge our Department staff members have taken much effort to publish “Lit Wit Quiz – 2018”. It contains 255 questions and it was published by our Respectable Principal Rev.Sr.Dr.C.Jothi Mary. | 07.03.2018 | Lit Wit Quiz Exam – Our Department conducted Competitive Exam for all our final year students. Nearly 66 students have written the exam. Among them C.Manimegalai of III BA COMPUTER APPLICATION won I Prize, E.Princy Juniah of III BA COMPUTER APPLICATION secured II Prize, Vimala Rani of III BA COMPUTER APPLICATION won the III Prize. |
| 08.03.2018 | Ex-augural Function – Ex-augural Function was celebrated in our college on 8th March, 2018. Mr.Nellai Naveen (Social Activist) came as a Chief Guest. Our Department students gave the Dance performance along with the students of Tamil Department. On that same day Our Rev.Sr.Dr.Sabin was awarded Golden Ladder for Centum Result (PG). |

The Chief Guest was Prof. Dr.V.Manickavasagam, Formerly Dean, Faculty of Management, Senior Professor & Head, Department of Corporate Secretaryship, Alagappa University, Karaikudi. It was held at our College open Auditorium. All the Department students exhibited their talents innovatively and meaningfully based on their Department terms. |
| 16.08.2018 | Arts & Fashion Fiesta – Our Department has organized an Arts & Fashion Fiesta Exhibition on 16th August, 2018 in the closed Auditorium. Nearly 12 schools were participated with 137 (XI –XII Std) students. Rev.Sr.Jessi Mathew, Principal, Infant Jesus, Matric Higher sec.School, Devakottai was invited as a Resource Person. Our students exhibited their talents by performing programme such as Drama on Tenses, Thani Nabar Thiramai, Mime & Fashion Show. The prize winners were awarded Shield and Certificates. The students and staff from schools came voluntarily and shared their feedback about the Exhibition and the atmosphere of the college. The staff from various schools were honoured with shawl. |
| 06.12.2018 | Outreach Programme – In our Department 11 of our students went to Outreach Programme to P.S.S High School, Shanmuganathapuram on 6th December, 2018. Our students took Grammar classes like Voices, Degrees Of Comparison, Direct & Indirect Speech, Articles, Tenses, Question Tag, Sentence Pattern etc. Our students have sponsored all the teaching aids to the School. The HM and other staff appreciated our students. |
| 10.01.2019 | One Day Faculty In-Service Training –One Day Faculty In-Service Training was organized by our Department on 10th January, 2019 in Closed Auditorium. Rev.Dr.J.Joseph John Kennedy, Vice Principal, Ananda College, Devakottai was invited as a Chief Guest. Nearly 50 Faculties from various Colleges have participated. He explained the objectives and purposes of Teaching Language by conducting various games such as Word Power, Story Developing & Spelling etc. The participation certificates were given to the Faculties. |
| 10.01.2019 | Mobile Library – In our Department we have created the Mobile Library and Accessed the Internet facility for PG students. Rev.Dr.C.Jothi Mary was inaugurated the Mobile Library. |
| 28.02.2019 | Lit Wit Skills ‘n’ Thrills –On 28thFebruary 2019, our Department has conducted Lit Wit Skills ‘n’ Thrills in order to exhibit the talents of the students. Ms.Susai Arul, Co-ordinator, St.Michael Matriculation School, Kalaiyarkovil was invited as a Chief Guest. Nearly 200 students have actively participated. We have conducted various competitions. We have invited judges from various Departments of our College. The winners and participants were given prizes and certificates by the Chief Guest. |

Dr.P.Madhan, Head of the Department of COMPUTER APPLICATION & Foreign Language, Alagappa University, Karaikudi was invited as a Chief Guest. He has delivered his illuminating speech on the topic “British Poetry”. |
| 29.03.2019 | Lit Wit Quiz Edition II – In our Department we have published Lit Wit Quiz Edition II on 29th March, 2019. It contains 508 Questions based on Common Wealth Literature, American Literature, British Literature, Shakespeare & Phonetics. Finally the winners were given prizes and Certificates for Talent Show Lit Wit Skills ‘n’ Thrills. The overall shield won by II B.A COMPUTER APPLICATION students. |
